April versus October

Now that I am into the seventh month of pregnancy I am reminded of all the changes that have occurred since April. Here are some of the funny (and not-so-funny) things that I have realized:

In April: I could walk around La Cantera for 2 hours just for fun.
In October: I can walk around Babies R Us and have just as much fun, however I can only be on my feet for about 45 minutes at a time!

In April: The perfect combo was a margarita with chips and salsa.
In October: The perfect combo is a glass of milk and a couple of TUMS.

In April: I loved wearing my tall strappy sandals, wedge heels, and high heels.
In October: Either barefoot or flat shoes.

In April: I would walk to the end of the street to get the mail.
In October: If I can't remember to drive by the mailbox on the way home, then it will just have to wait until tomorrow.

In April: I would salivate at the chance to find a new cool purse.
In October: I am excited for a cool diaper bag.

In April: I would look for flyers about department store sales.
In October: I am comparing prices on diapers.

In April: I would drink one or two cups of chocolate milk per week.
In October: I can down about a gallon or two per week.

In April: My bladder was the size of a peanut M&M.
In October: My bladder is now the size of a regular M&M.

Speaking of M&M's...I need to go find some chocolate! Guess that ends this post!
