The End of an Era
Almost two years ago I started working at the Tetco office as an accountant. God provided this wonderful opportunity for me after several months of searching throughout the city for a job.
Shaun and I knew well beforehand that I would only be working for a season, and that I would hopefully be a stay-at-home mom in a few years from then. Boy oh boy...has the time gone quickly! Tomorrow is going to be my last day of work! I am excited about not having work for the remainder of the pregnancy, and I am also looking forward to getting to stay at home with little David. But I am also going to miss so many co-workers who I have enjoyed working with these past two years.
My bosses have been very accomodating to me throughout my time there. They were very understanding during our miscarriage, and also allowed me to change to part time during this pregnancy. I am so thankful that God placed me at a company that cared so much about its employees.
It is going to be strange to not have a job anymore...I have worked for the past 9 years. My job with Tetco has been fulfilling, but now I look forward to becoming a full-time mother. This is what I was made for :-)
