The Growing Family Tree

It has been incredible to see our family grow in just a few days. Exactly two weeks earlier (to the hour) our niece Lera Bella Richard was born. Rachel's brother Jon and sister-in-law Sara came into town last weekend and we got to meet David's cousin Lera. We were hoping that David would come sooner than his inducement date so that Jon, Sara, and Lera could meet him too. David liked it inside the womb and was determined to stay bundled up until Wednesday. So he has yet to meet them.

My Mom was able to take time off from teaching and stay at the hospital for the delivery.

Here is "Nana" and David shortly after he was born.

My sister and brother were also waiting at the hospital and got to meet David within a few minutes after he was born.
