Timeless Toys

When I was growing up we had several Sock Monkies in our house. I always remember this simple, yet entertaining pal....who we called Almonzo. Right after David was born, his Nana gave him is very own Sock Monkey for his room.

Here are some pictures of me (Rachel) as a baby playing with my Almonzo, followed by pictures of David and his friend Almonzo!

I also had a special little yellow bear that I would "coo" and smile at during tummy time. My Mom had saved it all these years with some of my baby clothes. We recently pulled it out and introduced it to David during tummy time also. Here is a picture of me smiling at it when I was almost 3 months old, nearly exactly the same age as David is right now!
