8 Months

Our sweet David will be turning 8 months tomorrow! He is growing up so quickly...it is bittersweet. He is looking more and more like a toddler when we see him next to other babies. He is already wearing 12-18 month sized clothes, and has nearly outgrown his infant carseat.

What a joy this little guy is :) One of the things that makes me smile the most is the sweet pitter-patter of his feet while he is crawling on the hardwood floors. David is very mobile and becoming exceptionally quick at getting to where he wants to go....especially areas such as the television entertainment center and also the dog food bowl. We have done alot to childproof the house...but I don't think any place can ever be fully childproofed!

David has learned to make a spitting sound with his tongue and lips. It is rather endearing, but can be frustrating if he does it while he is eating rice cereal, or any food for that matter. I started making homemade baby food purees last month. So far David has liked the mangos the best. I taste-tested them before feeding him and had forgotten just how delicious mangos can be!

As you can tell from the pictures above David is a growing boy and has become quite an active explorer around the Gardiner casa. We are so blessed!
