10 Months

David turned 10 months old today. It seems like I just posted about him turning 9 months! He is getting closer to his first birthday, which is SO hard to believe.

The biggest milestone for David this month has been his newly-found discovery of "standing." Although he can only stand for 2-3 seconds at a time, he is learning to stand on his own without holding onto anything for support.

This little guy is so sweet and brings great joy to us! We have started reading more books to him and sitting him on our laps for "story time." Although his attention span is short, he is getting more and more attentive while we read to him. This is something I look forward to! Next week we are going to start going to the "babies and toddlers" story time at the library near our house. I think he will enjoy it!

I sometimes call David "monkey" because he is all over the place and doesn't like to stay still....especially when there are mobile toys near him. There is an awesome indoor playground called Dynamoze. It is free up until babies turn 11 months old, so I am going to have to take advantage of the opportunity to go there over the next few weeks!

David is continuing to grow fast! He's still teething and is breaking in his first baby molar. He doesn't seem too phased by it, so that is good. I hope it isn't as painful as some of his other teeth have been.

This little fellow is a wonderful blessing! Thank you God for this great gift!
