Hello, blog world. It's been a while since I updated anything! There have been alot of "Firsts" for David over the past few weeks- first steps, first time to "play" at a park, first virus, and first Thanksgiving.
David is SO proud of himself now that he is walking...he even applauds himself while he is doing it! He is becoming faster and faster at walking...he surely keeps us on our toes. We've had to childproof the house from a new perspective now that he sees things from a new level. Our living room tables now look a little bare with out the picture frames and table lamps. But it is reassuring to know that it is "David-proof"....well at least for now!
David is learning new ways to "play" from crawling under furniture, to swinging at the park and going down slides.
Our sweet little David got a nasty virus with blisters in the back of his throat. It was so sad to see him in pain. He was really out of it and did not want to eat hardly anything. Fortunately he got through it fast and is now back to his perky self!
David was well just in time for Thanksgiving! He got to try lots of yummy food! I'm not sure what was his favorite...but half of the food on his tray was eaten, and the other half ended up on the floor for the dogs.
With December came cool weather...finally! David got to bundle up in a special beanie that our frien Julie made for him when he was born :)
It is hard to believe that in just a few weeks...actually days...our little man will be one year old!

glad he is feeling better. love seeing him walk. he certainly is ALL boy!
all of the sudden David looks so much older to me! Hard to believe a year has gone by Rachel. He looks awesome!
