Fall Fun

In between our rounds of sickness this fall, we've been able to participate in some fun festivities! We went to the Pumpkin Patch a few weeks ago and David loved running around and "testing" out the pumpkins to see how durable they were and if he could move them. He did not want to sit still for storytime though, but he sure had fun exploring the field!

Little James wasn't very interested in the pumpkins. He took advantage of the cool weather and warm sun by taking a nap!

Oh the joy of pumpkins! David was thrilled...

David also got to play in the corn kernel "sandbox" with several of his girl friends.

We also made a trip up to Hondo to see the "Corn Maize" and other farm activities.

David had fun running around in the dirt, seeing the goats, and playing with his friends!

The "maize" took about an hour to maneuver our way through. We were quite impressed with the planning and work that went into the design! Here is the ariel view of this year's design- a tribute to George Strait!

And here's the view from the ground, but not sure exactly what point we were at in the maze!

We did not trick-or-treat this year. In fact I hadn't planned on even purchasing costumes for the boys. But while I was at Target this past weekend, I found that all costumes were on clearance. I got a costume for each boy and only spent $1.50 each! What a deal...over 90% off!!!

I was never a fan of football until now! James is the cutest little pigskin ever!

And David got to be a puppy dog, or "fuff" (his way of saying "woof" which is what he says when he sees a dog)!

I enjoy these adventures with both boys! Each day holds a new world of discovery and joy!
