Today our sweet little James turned 8 months old! He's growing up so fast...it's hard not to see him as a newborn anymore. He's been eating so much lately and prefers solid food over his bottle. He's still a fantastic sleeper...averaging 12 hours a night! He's got 6 teeth already--and more on their way in!
This past month was a bit of a challenge for James. He had his third ear infection, as well as having RSV. Praise God he healed up quickly! We also found out that James may be farsighted. We're taking him to a pediatric eye doctor soon, then we will find out if he will get to sport a cute pair of baby glasses.
James is very observant and loves to watch his big brother across the room. James giggles at everything David does...and laughs when David gets in trouble (although I think it's just a coincidence of timing--no mean intentions)!
James is content to stay where he is and not take off crawling yet. He can roll all the way across the living room and end up in the oddest of places, but he hasn't discovered how to crawl.
James is quite a social guy--he always wants someone in the room with him. Even if I'm cooking and he's on the floor in the kitchen he is happy!
I can see similarities and differences in personalities between the two boys. I love seeing them interact, especially when David goes and lies next to James on the floor!
