October and November Photos

It's been way too long, yet again, since I've sat down to do a blog post! I think as the boys get older I have less down time, but there are still so many pictures and memories that I want to record so I don't forget! Also my super duper fancy camera broke and the warranty coverage was horrible...so all that to say I don't have as many photos to share, but they are still precious to me!

David took a step forward with his fear of animals! He actually asked to ride one of the ponies at his friend Catalina's birthday party!! We were thrilled that he was so brave!!

James even ventured out and went for a pony ride!

Both boys also pet the bunnies!

It's been so sweet to see the brothers become best friends!

James sported this lovely turkey costume for a Trunk-or-Treat that we went to at our YMCA!

And David was went as a puppy dog!

We checked out the Helotes "Cornyval" festival this year.
The boys went on a hayride and got to see lots of pumpkins!

We've got an almost nightly tradition of floor time where Daddy and the boys wrestle. David can hardly wait for it each day. He asks James all day long to "please push me on the floor James." James doesn't understand what that means, but David tries to make it happen :)

It's hard to believe the holidays are almost here! David is doing very well at Kids Day Out at our church. He's a fast learner and has become great at communicating. We've signed him up for basketball this winter. He's beyond excited...we can't wait to let him play. There are no real "games" since this is a group of toddlers. But this will be a fun outlet to use his energy :)

James is growing leaps and bounds. He's a fast crawler and can walk around the house with his hands supported. I'm thinking any day now he will try to take his first step unassisted! He's "talking" alot more, and loves to cover his eyes and say "boo." He's such a content and easy going boy, but he can get feisty and stubborn when he has his mind set on something...like wiggling out of his highchair buckle.

Last month one of the big hilights for me was going to San Diego for my great friend Renee's wedding! It was such a blessing to celebrate with her and be a bridesmaid in her wedding! I hadn't seen her since she was a bridesmaid in my wedding 5 1/2 years ago! It was a sweet reunion for me, and I was SO blessed by Shaun since he stayed at home with both boys for 4 days and played Mr. Mom!

Shaun started a new job at Rackspace web hosting, and is loving the work culture and environment! Today his team had a company funded outing- paint balling, followed by Grimaldi's pizza, then on to the Yardhouse. I was a bit jealous...not about the paint balling, of course! I'm still not used to seeing him go to work in jeans and flip-flops...he's adjusted rather quickly from wearing a tie to work everyday.

I hope to take more pictures of our precious boys and post some updates more often...

That's all folks....till next time!
