In addition to a weekend full of birthday activities, we also participated in some holiday cheer. On Saturday we went to the "Legendary Holiday" event at the Westin La Cantera. It's a gorgeous hill country resort just a few miles from our house, but when we were there we felt so far away...not as though we were in the city. Each year the have a spectacular display, as well as family-friendly activities for everyone--you don't have to be a guest of the hotel to participate!
That morning, we went to Breakfast with Santa at our YMCA. I was not able to take a photograph of the boys with Santa since I wasn't paying for the professional photos (that was kinda lame, but the boys didn't even realize it!). But I did get pictures of David's "Jingle Bell Rock" camp singing some Christmas carols. And little James did so well as we sat and waited for David to perform. Such a fun morning...
