Texas Our Texas- Day 1

Two weeks ago we had the privilege of taking a Texas road trip with the boys!! It was a much needed vacation, as well as a new adventure for all of us. We stayed in three different places and did a lot of driving over the course of seven days!!  Overall, the boys did GREAT on the drive to Euless (basically Arlington). James was so excited to have suitcases in the car...he kept referring to them as "soupcases." Hearing him say that made me smile every time!

Our first vacation adventure started at the Thomas the Train exhibit in Grapevine. We got to ride a life-sized Thomas the train!! It felt like we took a step back in time :) The boys loved the entire experience...

This was as close as we could get to posing in front of Thomas without waiting in line for an hour after the train ride!! What a great memory...this was such an adventure!
