In Loving Memory

This weekend has been a hard one since my sweet grandmother Nanny passed away on Friday. This tragedy came unexpectedly and has not felt like reality yet. As we have reflected on the memories of her we are reminded of her love for Christ. We came across a card she sent us just 2 months ago when we were needing comfort. She said that her prayer for us was that "God would wrap His arms around you and give you his comfort as only He is capable of doing." We feel that these would be her words for us even now.

Nanny lived her life to the fullest, even up until the day she went home. I found it peculiar that she had just recently pulled out old pictures that were taken from when she went to visit her dying mother. Part of me feels that she was at peace and ready for the Lord's timing. The last time I saw her was when I was leaving my brother's wedding. She had enjoyed the evening and danced with my younger brother Mike. I know that now her heart is dancing at the feet of God and all her limitations have been freed.
