Goodbye Rabbit Ears and Judge Judy

Back in January we decided to cut cable and deal with the few options our beloved rabbit ears provided. I think we did pretty good to go six months without all our favorite shows.

Now that I am only working part time and lying on the couch the majority of the time (it feels good to be lazy these days), I was depressed to find that my only viewing options were Judge Judy, Christina's Court, and Jerry Springer. Not to mention the cheesy Career Point, jail bond, and fast loan commercials that are repeated over and over again. I soon realized that this is the "audience" that is at home watching TV during the daytime.

Shaun had been comparing prices and trying to find a deal that would be budget-friendly. So when AT&T's U-verse bundle package became available we decided to jump ship. I am very fortunate to have been rescued from the daytime TV stereotype! Ah what a breath of fresh air! Now I am happy to watch the Food Network, HGtv, and TLC again. My place IS in the home and these channels definitely remind me of that.

Rachel I hear ya on the tv commercials. I hope you are enjoying being home part of the time. I have tried to stay busy with home projects but alas I am on the computer all the time. Hope you guys are doing well. Love ya.
