Tomorrow will be one year since my sweet grandmother Nanny went home to be with the Lord. On one hand it seems as though it has been so long since we saw her, yet on the other hand it feels like she is still here. Although she is gone, she is deep within our hearts. Although we were pregnant at the time she passed away, we did not know it yet. I often wonder what she would think of her Great Grandson David. Nanny loved celebrating life...birthdays, weddings, holidays, anniversaries, achievements, and getting together with relatives. In the picture above, Shaun and I were celebrating with her at a couples shower before our wedding.
I wish David could have met his Great Grandmother, but we will have many stories and photos to share with him in the years to come.
