Shaun has been working alot of overtime the past few months, so we were blessed this weekend to have alot of family time together. It was perfect timing for rest, going to church, and spending time with friends.
On Good Friday we went over to David's Nana's house for a yummy brisket dinner. We also set up David's Precious Planet jumperoo at home for him to play in. He LOVES bouncing in it and playing with the bright intersting toys on it!
On Saturday Shaun, David, and I ate lunch at Scenic Loop Cafe near Boerne. It was nice to drive around in the hill country for a little while and relax. The restaurant was beautiful and had a lovely patio. It was rather chilly and overcast, so we stayed inside but enjoyed the view.
Saturday evening we went to an Easter egg hunt and party at the Kadane's house. David got to meet lots of babies and enjoy attention from the adults. Here is a picture of sweet Jack Trauth playing with David.
Kate had a wonderful photo suggestion for Shaun, David, and I! I'm sure glad we did it....it turned out really cool!
We went to the Easter service this morning at church while David was in the nursery. He did great and got to spend time with his friend Miss Gigi, who happened to have volunteered for the nursery today! Shaun and I had not been to the service since David was born, so it was really nice to get reconnected again and visit with people.
Later in the afternoon we went to the Lozada's house for an early dinner and hang out time. Pablo loves taking photos, so we were definitely in luck! They have a beautiful deck and backyard which made for a perfect photo setting.

David and Catalina are a month and a half apart, and are starting to "notice" each others' presence now. At first they didn't know that the other one existed. It is fun to see them interact more now.
David got some chill time with Daddy while Hannah Hvass got to do her very own Easter egg hunt! She was so precious. It took her a little while to learn that the eggs were for her to find and put in her basket! Each egg had a special sticker inside of it. About halfway through her hunt, she slipped on a grassy slope in the backyard and flipped her basket over. It made for a cute picture!
We took a mother-daughter-son picture together. It was more like 10 photos...it is so hard to get three kiddos to look at the camera at the same time!
And after that we tried to get a picture of David and Catalina sitting down. I don't know which is harder....getting them both to stay somewhat seated or getting them to both look at the camera. But these pics are priceless anyway!
On a different note, I think this is my favorite outfit of David's. I have always loved madras shorts and IZOD polos (well mainly the little alligator that is stitched on them). David's polo had several alligators stitched on it! What a cutie...he can definitely pull off the preppy look :-)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! Remember that He is Risen!
