David uses his hands and arms alot! He is very interested in all of his toys, and has started bringing them up to his mouth.
Yesterday was David's first experience at the swimming pool. He was rather terrified of the water, but I can see why since it was still a bit chilly. David had a playdate with Miss Catalina, Miss Lena Kate, and also met her cousin Charles. I wish I had taken a photo of all the kiddos sporting their new swimwear.
David has transitioned well from the bassinet to the crib. He takes full advantage of his new territory! He moves around alot in his sleep, but always looks comfy wherever he nestles up.
I am so thankful that David has learned to eat rice cereal, rather than playing with it and spitting it out. Now that he has begun to swallow it and open his mouth for more, I introduced him to carrots. As you can see from the picture below, David is not a fan of carrots and tries to hide his mouth with the bib. Who can blame him though...I tasted the Gerber "carrots," and have to say they tasted like bland marinara sauce.
David loves Pappa time! Shaun is so good with David :-) I enjoy watching them interact together. David looks like such a big boy sporting his Daddy's cap.

Seriously??? Almost 5 months??? Hard to believe except for the fact that he does look like he's growing up in those pictures.
He is such a cute little boy! He seems to have grown overnight! You will love looking back and reading all the "little things" years later. ~liz
I can't believe he's already 5 months! That is crazy and has gone by so fast. He looks adorable in his swim trunks.
