On Saturday morning Shaun, David, and I were able to take advantage of the crisp 60 degree weather and go on a scenic hike! Garden of the Gods was absolutely gorgeous!
There were different explanations for how these lovely rock formations came into being. Shaun and I liked considering it The Garden of God :-) We don't think it took millions of years....we think this was a masterpiece of God's creativity.

The picture below is of a balancing rock. It's hard to realize its size without being there!
Across the highway there was an observation deck with a small cafe. We enjoyed sitting out there for lunch and taking in the view. David had fun playing with Daddy at the table.
