Boy oh Boy!

This morning I had a follow-up sonogram on a bloodclot that I have had for a few weeks. The clot is not considered dangerous...it just needs more time to clear up. I have started feeling better, but still get waves of nausea and headaches. This has been a hard pregnancy, but I am so thankful for God's protection of this little baby.

I was very surprised this morning when I first saw the sonogram screen. I saw the baby's legs...then very quickly recognized that he is a BOY! I am only 15 weeks right now, so we hadn't expected to find anything out until later this month. I was pleasantly surprised, however I was sad that Shaun was not there with me to see the big revelation. I saw Shaun shortly afterwards and showed him the sonogram picture...it was hard to keep my mouth shut until I saw him in person!

We are thrilled to have another boy! David will get to have a little brother so close in age to him. I was convinced that we were having a girl....but maybe in a few years! We had already chosen a boy name and a girl name for this baby. Shaun's hero is the missionary Jim Elliot. We will name the baby either James Elliot or Elliot James. We haven't chosen which order yet. Any suggestions?
