David Meets "Curly"

For almost 2 years we've had a Build-A-Bear gift card for David that we should have used a long time ago. We finally decided to redeem it and "order" a new friend for David. Yes I know...the whole experience of Build-A-Bear is to actually watch it being made. Maybe in a few months David will be more interested in the experience, but for now we picked out a bear online and had it sent to us at home.

David was very curious about the package that arrived today. I don't know which he liked more...the box or the cuddly friend inside of the box! We had hoped to find a "Big Brother" tshirt for the bear, but weren't successful. So we tried to dress him in a trendy hoodie.





Shortly after this photo, David threw his Curly bear over the baby gate into the hallway. So on one hand he is curious, on the other hand indifferent. We'll see if he takes more of a liking to his new friend...
