Dog Days of Summer

Boy has it been HOT recently...I am about to melt! I am currently 36 weeks pregnant, and counting down the days until James arrives! If he has not made his grand entrance by August 16th we will induce, but I have a feeling he will come before then :)

David is growing so much and is becoming more and more active as the weeks go by. It's hard to keep him entertained indoors. He loves going outside, but I can barely endure the heat more than 5 minutes. I can't wait for some cooler weather when I can take my boys outside and watch David play!

We set up David's "big boy" toddler bed. He hasn't learned to sleep in it yet, but is very curious about it and likes to get on it to read to us :)

I've missed meeting with my Interface Bible study group for the summer. I can't wait to start up again together in the fall. We've had a few playdates, but haven't been able to get the whole group together since April. David loves playing with all of the other kids :)

We are lucky to have a small playground around the block from our house. It is perfect to take David to and it is never crowded. David endured a rather long walk around the block to get there, we were impressed! We definitely look for ways for him to burn off all of his energy :)





This is probably one of the last preggo pics I will take before having James. Unless he holds out until his induction date...then I might get a pic when we are ready to head to the hospital! I can't believe he is almost here...
