Labor was rather fast...the first 4 hours were slow, but the last hour went very quickly! The epidural was off balance, so I felt very numb on the right side of my body (almost as though I was going to fall off the bed) and could feel most everything on the left side of my body. Nothing too unbearable though! I made it through :)
David has been very gentle with his little brother- giving lots of hugs and kisses, even wanting to share his animal crackers. He says "Jayyy" for baby James.
We are home now adjusting to life as a family of four. It is exhausting and exciting at the same time. David has been better than expected, and had a few rough moments. He is very gentle and kind, so we are thankful that he is being tender towards his little brother. Shaun has another week of paternity leave, so I am thankful that I have some help during the day for now! We are so blessed and thankful for our newest little blessing.
