We found out I was expecting baby #2 shortly before 2010 and were excited to see our family expand! The pregnancy was rather difficult with brutal sickness, a blood clot that lasted 2 months, and overwhelming fatigue. God brought me through some tough days and granted me far more energy than I expected I would have during the third trimester!
This past year we did many repairs and improvements to our home. Some were a result of plumbing and storm emergencies, some were decisions to better organize our house in preparation of having James. We've definitely taken pride in home ownership and put in alot of sweat equity!
In April Shaun started a new job with Booz Allen Hamilton. He was in a wonderful position with General Dynamics beforehand, and God opened the door to even greater opportunities with this job change. I'm proud of Shaun's hard work and dedication to continue learning in his career field.
Life with two boys is quite eventful. I have transitioned much better than I had predicted a few months ago. There are some tiring days, but I am blessed abundantly with the children God has given us. David just turned 2 years old, and has adjusted well to being a big brother. He absolutely loves to entertain James. I can't wait to see these two boys grow up together!
With the start of a new year, I am curious as to what God has in store for our family in the coming months. I look forward to seeing where He has us grow, connect, and serve. There are many hopes and desires, and I can't wait to see how God fulfills each of them!
