James 9 Months

Our sweet little James turned 9 months today! The months are just flying by and he is growing more and more as each one passes.

I have alot to update about James from this past month. He'd been struggling with sitting up and moving and crawling, but now he has learned to sit independently and hold something in his hands. Just this weekend he learned to position himself in a seated position (we usually sat him down that way)! And he's also started to ooch up on his knees and elbows and rock back and forth. Hopefully this means he will be able to discover the world around him :)

We also took James to a pediatric eye doctor because we were concerned that he may be farsighted. Fortunately that is not the case and he doesn't need glasses!

James has been struggling with ear infections for the past 5 months...almost one per month and a double one that he is currently clearing up. We will take him to an ENT soon and hopefully get him tubes to help him out!

Through all this, he has been sweet and seldom fussy. He usually gets sad when he can't see anyone in the room with him, or when we lay him down for bed and leave his room. Other than that, he's such a content little guy and always has a smile to offer. David loves playing with James and making him laugh. I'm looking forward to the two boys growing close and interacting more!
