Six Years

I can hardly believe Shaun and I are celebrating our 6 year anniversary today! We watched our wedding dvd this morning with the boys. It was fun to look back and reflect on our wedding. David recognized many of our friends and family in the video. At first he didn't recognize Shaun...he asked "who's that in the picture with Mommy?" LOL!

This last year has felt so much more fast paced than the other five! The boys are growing so much and keep our days and schedules full. We are learning more and more what it's like to parent two active toddlers! We've enjoyed watching them grow as brothers. Our family has turned into superhero fans over this past year, and I have a feeling that trend will continue over many more years. 

Each year we look back and try to think of a word or words to describe the previous year. This year would be the word "change." One of the biggest changes in the past year was Shaun switching jobs. He left the military contracting world to work at Rackspace! The culture there is great, and Shaun has greatly enjoyed being there! We definitely saw God's hand at work in the timing of this change. 

We are continuing to grow in God's grace and learn what it's like to be parents to these two boys whom God has entrusted to us. I look forward to many many more years in store with my love.
