Texas Our Texas- Day 5

Day 5 of our Texas trip took us to the Fort Worth stockyards, then to Glen Rose for the remaining days of our trip. The weather felt even colder this day, and David was still feeling sick. Overall, he did great and still wanted to go places. We spent the morning at the historic stockyards, sat on a live Longhorn, and got to see a real cattle drive!

Then we drove about an hour and a half east to Glen Rose, where we drove through Fossil Rim nature reserve. For 2 hours animals came to our windows for food! The boys loved seeing animals up close and personal. David would toss food out the window and say "hey deer, catch." As if the deer would hold his hand up in the air or open his mouth to catch the food!

James lovingly referred to the cheetah as a "kitty cat"...

This was a ride we will not soon forget! God has created such beautiful animals...
