Texas Our Texas- Day 6

This was the last day of our sightseeing before heading back to San Antonio the next morning. David still felt sick, but was a trooper and perked up throughout the day for different activities. We went to Dinosaur World/ Jurrasic Park, where we walked through a life-sized dinosaur world, and even fed some koi fish at a pond! Then we went to Dinosaur Valley State Park for some hiking and viewing of real fossilized dinosaur tracks in a riverbed. Fortunately the weather warmed up a bit, so we were able to thaw out!!

We enjoyed the beauty and adventure of Glen Rose! By the end of the day, we were all exhausted and ready to head home sweet home. We finished the day with some yummy BBQ from Hammonds...which I think is better than Rudy's (which is one of my favorite places). All in all, we got to see and do everything we had hoped for, in spite of the weather setback plus David's tummy bug. It was a blessing to be with my boys and their awesome daddy. The ride home felt longer since we were all tired and the weather was drizzly. It's hard to believe that we only saw a portion of the huge state of Texas!! There's so much more territory to cover, but that will have to be another road trip! God bless Texas...so proud to live in this great state!!
